The Certified Natural Shoreline Professional (CNSP) training was created to provide contractors and landscape professionals with the information and skills they need to design and implement lake healthy erosion control using natural materials and bio-engineering practices to protect Michigan's inland lakes.

About the Training and Certification Process

Participants will gain experience by installing a natural shoreline landscape on an inland lake property.
An exam is given during the Field Day.

When is the next CNSP Training?
Due to the uncertainty of being able to hold an in person class and the challenges of holding a virtual training the 2021 CNSP Training has been postponed. This time will be used to update the training and information provided.
